Dr. Ayala was born in California, USA but raised in Venezuela. She attended dental school in Caracas, Venezuela where she graduated as a Dentist for the first time. Later that year, the political situation in Venezuela became unstable and Dr. Ayala decided to move to the United States to improve her English, in hopes that the situation would eventually get better for her to move back. However, she met her husband, and then she knew she was not going back to Venezuela. She worked as a dental assistant, and later as a dental hygienist until she was accepted into the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry.

Valentina Ayala, D.M.D. graduated from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry.
She completed the Comprehensive Dentistry program, a Certificate in Public Health at the University of Florida, and she committed to the 4 year DMD program at the University of Florida where she obtained her second dental degree.
Dr. Ayala and her husband Andres have two beautiful daughters, and they have made Gainesville their home. They enjoy camping, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Ayala is a member of the American Dental Association, The Florida Dental Association, and the Alachua County Dental Association.
